Kia EV6 electric car specification and features – 528 km on a single charge!

Bookings for Kia’s EV6 electric car in India have been in the pipeline since May 26. Kia EV6 launched in India on June 2. It will be imported as Completely Built Units, which means it will be more expensive and will become Kia’s flagship product in India after its launch. The company promises that the Kia EV6 will be Kia’s most technologically advanced car.

It is said that only about 100 Kia EV6 now available across India. Bookings for this electric car have started at selected dealerships from May 26. The Kia EV6 is only available in 12 locations in India.

This includes cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Gurugram, Noida, Jaipur, Chennai, Bangalore, Kochi, Hyderabad and Kolkata. The price of the Kia EV6 will be announced on June 2, 2022.

The Kia EV6 comes with a 77.4kWh battery pack and a rear wheel drive variant with a range of 528 km (about 528 km on a single charge). This version has a maximum power output of 229bhp and a peak torque output of 350Nm. There is an all wheel drive variant.

There is also an all wheel drive variant, which gets dual motor setup with 325bhp and 605Nm and can reach 0 to -100kmph in just 5.2 seconds.

With a 350KWh charger you can charge this vehicle from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes. Selected trims come with an all-wheel drive (AWD) system, panoramic sunroof, multiple drive modes, front collision avoidance assistance, Lane Keep Assist and more than 60 connected features.

The Kia EV6 car has received a 5-star crash test rating from Euro NCAP. This car has won the iF Design Award (IF Design Award) for its outstanding design.

In terms of size, the Kia EV6 measures 4,695mm in length, 1,890mm in width and 1,550mm in height and 2,900mm in wheelbase. Also in terms of size this car is comparable to medium sized luxury SUVs.

The Kia EV6 car will be more expensive as it is CBU. Prices for this car are expected to start at Rs 60 lakh. Although there are currently no direct competitors to Kia’s EV6 in India, it will compete with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 in the second half of 2022.
