2022 Hyundai Venue facelift: The South Korean company Hyundai had launched its new Hyundai Venue facelift (2022 Hyundai Venue facelift). This was one of the most awaited SUVs in India a few days ago.
In this situation, the newly launched Hyundai Venue facelift car is well received by the customers. Over 21,000 bookings have been received to buy the car within days of its launch. Almost a third of the total bookings so far are for the diesel variant of the hybrid hatchback SUV.
The Hyundai Venue facelift diesel is available in only three variants out of a total of six options. The price of the 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift starts at Rs 7.53 lakh for the 1.2 petrol model and Rs 9.99 lakh for the 1.0-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel models.
2022 Hyundai Venue facelift received over 21,000 bookings
The diesel option on this car starts with the mid-level variants while the petrol engine options are available with the lower-level models. Bookings show that while demand for this new model has shifted towards petrol, demand for diesel engines is still in the SUV segment. This new Venue version features a redesigned radiator grille inspired by Hyundai Palisade, the 7-seater flagship SUV sold globally. Also, the Venue facelift now comes with a revised front bumper.
The new model car features a new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 2-step reclining back seat, 4-way electrically adjustable driver seat, air purifier, rear AC vents, wireless phone charger and digital instrument panel as part of the interior design. This SUV has an electric sunroof. The car offers enhanced Home to Car (H2C) connectivity with Alexa and Google Voice Assistant. With Home to Car (H2C), customers can control remote climate control, remote door lock/unlock, remote vehicle status check, find my car, tire pressure information and other functions.
Meanwhile, Hyundai has stated that there has been a change in the demand for its models in recent years. The company stated that the demand for vehicles priced above Rs.10 lakh is increasing. The Hyundai Venue facelift competes with similar models of other companies. They are Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Renault Gigar and Nissan MagNite.
